At Backlot, we are committed to supporting artists from all walks of life and financial situations. We know that the barrier to entry in the creative world can be high, so we designed Studio Workshop Days to allow creators the opportunity to work in a professional setting with state of the art equipment for a fraction of the cost of normal production.
Want to try out some new gear, snap some professional photos, or film your next social media blast? Why not record the first episode of that podcast you’ve been wanting to make, or find your next creative partner?
For a flat fee of $50 per signup/project, you can join other creatives for a special day at Backlot Studio in a collaborative environment where your vision can become a reality at our Studio Workshop Day.
We are limiting it to 10 slots and expect it to sell out.
Note: For those who are able to present a photo of their vaccination card, masks are not required.

Included in your $50 workshop fee:
- Full access to our 12,000 sq/ft workspace, studio, and podcast recording rooms for the entire day of 09/30/21 from 8am till 6pm.
- Ability to bring crew/talent/creatives along to work on your specific project (if your crew is greater than 7, please let us know ahead of time for accommodations).
- Pre-production video chat with other creatives to share ideas on what you’re working on and recruit help if needed.
- Studio time will be spread out in 30-90min segments based on your project’s specific needs.
- All you can drink Craftwork Coffee from our on site espresso machine.
