The Backlot Director in Residence program is designed to support emerging artists that embody the spirit of our company by providing them access to our Studio and Workspace at a deeply discounted rate.

The DIR program has a duration of sixth months, during which the undersigned will be provided with:

  • 3x full day Backlot Studio bookings at 90% off retail price (must be scheduled within residency dates)

  • 1 FREE Hotdesk membership for the director and access to shared meeting spaces

  • Members-only rates on equipment rentals and additional studio rentals

So long as the undersigned agrees to:

  • Make use of the studio at least once

  • Tag Backlot on all posts related to your project(s)

  • Provide Backlot with a brief video testimonial at the end of your residency

  • Allow Backlot to make use of your image, as well as any video or photography captured by you/your team while in residence, for promotional purposes

  • Be a responsible steward of both our physical space at Backlot, and our brand’s values at large
